Here we go! Mad Kate | The Tide is back at work.
I arrived yesterday in Berlin after a month and a half of touring in Italy with Malika, just in time to put my luggages down, rewire some pedals, load the gear into the van and get into the studio. As planned, we are here at BGX HQ to finally record our new album with sound wizard Marian Hafensthein.
First, laying down the drum and guitar skeleton takes. Sara did a great job completing all the drum takes in two days.
I'm amazed at how tight we are on the live recording, considering that we haven't touched this material since our gig at Schokoladen last June.
